Vol. 117 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dingle Harbour.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is now in a position to give some information to the deputation of fishermen whom he met when he visited Tralee recently in connection with the dredging of Dingle Harbour.

D'fhiafraigh

den Aire Talmhaíochta an eol dó go bhfuil géar-ghá le dreidireacht i gcuan Dhaingean Uí Chúise; gur deacair do na hiascairí a mbáid iascaireachta a chur ag obair ann uaireanta toisc an méid gainimhe a bhíonn sa tslí orthu.

With your permission, a Chinn Chomhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 12 and 13 together. The position regarding the dredging of Dingle Harbour is having attention in the light of the further representations made to me, but I am not yet able to make a definite statement about a solution of the problem. I propose, however, to keep the matter under review until a solution is found and given effect to.
