As shown in the returns covering the associated banks and the National City Bank, Limited, published in Table V of the Quarterly Statistical Bulletin of the Central Bank, the amount of credit outstanding in the form of bills, investments and loans and advances within Ireland was £128,921,667 at 31st December, 1950; £144,241,587 at 31st December, 1951, and £139,531,678 at 31st December, 1952.
