Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Arus Mhic Dhiarmada: C.I.E. Employees.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that certain employees of C.I.E. working in Store Street bus station work a six-day week from nine to five thirty and if he will arrange, if necessary by the introduction of proposals for legislation, for the reduction of their working hours.

Under the provisions of Section 10 of the Railways Act, 1933, and Section 46 of the Transport Act, 1950, the rates of pay and other conditions of service of road transport employees of C.I.E. are required to be regulated in accordance with agreements made between the trade unions representative of the employees and the board.
