Vol. 160 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Air Services.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will make a statement on the recent agreement between this country and the United Kingdom in relation to air passenger and transport services between the two countries.

The revision of the Air Agreement with Britain was completed by an Exchange of Notes on 31st August, 1956. Full details of the revision were given in an official announcement on the same day and the details were fully reported in the daily newspapers on the following day, 1st September. There is nothing by way of a general statement which I can usefully add to the official announcement in the matter already published.
