Vol. 166 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - National Farmers' Association: Minister's Speech.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will make available in the Library a copy of the speech which he made in Wexford on 28th February, 1958, with reference to the National Farmers' Association.

The answer is in the negative.

In view of the fact that, according to reports of the Minister's meeting, he is reported as having referred to the National Farmers' Association in offensive and insulting terms and, having regard to the seriousness of that in relation to decent people who are minding their own business——

The Deputy is making a speech by way of a question.

——will the Minister withdraw what he said on that occasion?
