Vol. 190 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wages of South Tipperary Forestry Workers.

29.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that South Tipperary County Council have agreed to grant an increase of 7/6d. per week to road workers; and if it is now his intention to increase forestry workers' wages by the same amount in the area of the said local authority.

A claim for an increase in the rates of wages of forestry labourers has been made to my Department and the matter is receiving consideration.
