Vol. 206 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pensions of County Council Employees.

29.

asked the Minister for Local Government if in relation to the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1956, a servant of a county council having more than one year of pensionable service in 1963 and having been on the council's register in 1961 is entitled to reckon as pensionable service periods of service as a manual worker in the service of a mental hospital authority, having regard to the provisions of the Mental Treatment Act, 1961.

The information furnished by the Deputy is not sufficiently detailed to enable me to reply to the question. If the Deputy gives me further particulars of the case in question, I shall have the matter looked into.
