asked the Minister for Education if he will have steps taken to permit Comhairle le Leas Oige to extend their activities to the areas of Dublin County Council and the Borough of Dún Laoghaire, having regard to the fact that many youth clubs catering for youths in Dublin suburbs are hampered in their activities by being situated in the County or Dún Laoghaire Borough administrative areas, or partly in the city and partly in other areas.

An Chomhairle le Leas Oige is a sub-committee of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee and is financed through that committee. It would not be possible, therefore, to extend the activities of An Chomhairle to districts outside the administrative area of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee.
