Vol. 210 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Purchase of Landrace Pigs.

11.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if his attention has been drawn to the purchase in Sweden of Landrace pigs by Northern Ireland breeders; whether any steps have been taken by his Department to make similar purchases; and whether any moves have been made to find out from Irish breeders if they would be interested in making similar purchases.

I am aware that proposals have been made as indicated in the first part of the question.
