Vol. 229 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Light Industry Zone.

11.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are plans available setting out what areas of Blackrock, County Dublin is zoned for light industries; and, if so, if he will give the exact location of this light industrial zone with its boundaries.

The draft development plan proposals for Dublin County envisage a major industrial site in the Sandyford area together with a smaller site in the Kill of the Grange area. It is understood from the local authority that further studies to be carried out in the coming months will determine as far as possible the precise boundaries of the existing areas.

The draft development plan now on display to the public in the Town Hall, Dún Laoghaire, shows an area of approximately 20 acres provisionally zoned for light industry off Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock. A number of industries are already sited in the area so zoned.

On a point of order, has Question No. 10 been answered?

Yes; Questions Nos. 10 and 11 were answered before Question No. 12.

I did not hear the answer to it.

The Deputy could not hear, with the shouting at the time.
