asked the Minister for Education if he will arrange that the school bus taking the children from Rathvilla, Edenderry, County Offaly, to Edenderry national school will collect them at Rathvilla Lane and make it the pick-up point from a safety viewpoint, in view of the fact that there was a serious accident at the original pick-up point recently.

Normally the determination of pick-up points on school transport services is a matter for CIE and I have brought to their attention the suggestion contained in the Deputy's question.
