I have approved the developed plans including cost estimate for the projected new vocational school in Achill, Co. Mayo, and I have authorised the Co. Mayo Vocational Education Committee to prepare working drawings.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in relation to the provision of a new vocational school in Belmullet, County Mayo.
The final element of the developed sketch scheme including the cost plan for the new vocational school at Belmullet was received in my Department on January 30. The documentation is presently being examined and it is hoped to authorise the Vocational Education Committee at an early date to proceed to the next stage of the planning process.
