Vol. 327 No. 7

Written Answers. - Drogheda Road Repairs.

431.

asked the Minister for the Environment if, in view of the appalling state of the roads and streets in Drogheda, he is prepared to give a special allocation of money so that at least Donore Road, Rathmullan Road, Marles Lane and Mary Street can be repaired.

The road grants amounting to £500,000 which I have allocated to Drogheda Corporation this year include a special grant of £97,500 for maintenance works on strategic roads in Drogheda. The corporation's works programme for expenditure of this grant has not yet been received in my Department.
