Galway County Council's revised preliminary proposals for the Gort sewerage scheme, and the preparation of contract documents for Stage 1 of the scheme, have been approved. The further planning of the scheme is a matter for the local authority. The question of the provision of finance does not arise until a scheme is fully planned and approved.
