Contracts for the full 1983 requirements of Army boots and shoes were placed with Tuf Shoes Limited, Killarney, some time ago. Tenders for the 1984 requirements will be invited in due course and a contract will be placed in accordance with the usual criteria laid down for Government purchasing.
