Vol. 380 No. 8

Written Answers. - County Tipperary Water Scheme.

71.

asked the Minister for the Environment in the event of Tipperary North Riding County Council advertising for tender the construction of Thurles and Nenagh regional water supply schemes if he will confirm that the necessary capital finances be made available to allow the council to proceed with the construction of both schemes following acceptance of tenders.

Having regard to the overall cost of these schemes and the capital available this year for the sanitary services programme, it is not possible, at this stage, to indicate when funds can be made available to finance them.
