Vol. 388 No. 1

Written Answers. - Cladnageeragh Pier.

asked the Minister for the Marine if his attention has been drawn to the dilapidated and dangerous state of Cladnageeragh Pier, County Donegal; if there are any plans to carry out repairs; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware that the timber extension to the pier at Cladnageeragh is in a state of disrepair, and is not intended for use, as a barrier and warning sign indicate. I have asked for a full engineering report on the matter, and I will consider the question of repairs, and their cost, in the light of that report.
