Question:

43 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education if he will give details of the major extensions to (1) Dublin City University (2) St. Patrick's College, Maynooth (3) University College, Cork and (4) University College, Galway which are to be funded under community support framework; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Details of the four university building and equipping projects which are being funded under the Community support Framework are as follows:

Science and Technology at Dublin City University;

Phase 1 of a new Science/Technology Centre (Biology/Technology and Computer Science) at St. Patrick's College, Maynooth;

Aquaculture, Microelectronics and Food Science at University College, Cork;

Computer Science/Information Technology and Marine Biology/Oceanography at University College, Galway.

All projects are in the course of construction.
