Question:

112 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education if he will list the persons who are engaged by him as advisers, and if he will outline the aspects of educational policy or administration on which these advisers are concentrating.

Mr. Richard Doyle has been appointed as Special Adviser to the Minister for Education. In that capacity he advises me on all aspects of educational policy and development.

Mr. David Treacy has been appointed as Temporary Assessor/Adviser in the Youth Affairs Section of my Department. In that capacity he assists the Youth Affairs Section in assessing the disadvantaged projects which it currently funds and also assists in the development of definitive criteria for the evaluation of youth work.
