Question:

113 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if she will provide the necessary new furniture, science and art equipment for the new science laboratory, art room and other extensions to Stella Maris Secondary School, Ballycastle, County Mayo which was recently opened; and if she will make the necessary additional finance available in view of the shortfall arising from unforeseen additional mechanical and electrical work and consultancy fees.

I have recently approved an additional grant to assist the school in the provision of the necessary furniture and equipment for the recently completed extension. The school authorities are being notified accordingly.
