The 1993 funding to the Dublin Travellers Education and Development Group (DTEDG) was part of the £1.068 million made available on a once-off basis by my Department to partnership companies and the DTEDG in respect of special projects. Area partnership companies and the DTEDG were eligible bodies under the first global grant for local development.
The 1994 funding was Exchequer funding paid in advance of the coming into operation of the operational programme for local urban and rural development.
The above does not include grants for the purposes specified in the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust Act 1988.
