131 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the amount of grants from his Department to an organisation (details supplied) in each of the years from 1992 to 1996 and the proposed amount for 1997; the purpose of the grant on each occasion; if his attention has been drawn to alleged difficulties in the operation of the organisation concerned; if he has arranged for officials from his Department to meet with the people concerned as requested by them; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Expenditure incurred by my Department on advertisements in national and provincial newspapers since it's establishment in 1993 is as follows:

The 1996 figure includes expenditure incurred since March 1996 by the heritage services which were transferred from the Office of Public Works — Vote 10 — to my Department in March 1996.
