611 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in completing the road outside Clerehan's new national school, County Tipperary; when the funding for these urgent works will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14883/97]

Minister for Education (Mr. Martin):

The building project at Clerihan is not completed, the contract documentation is being prepared for an extension to the school. The surfacing of the area at the front boundary will be undertaken when the extension is being constructed.
