91 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the outcome of an application which was submitted on 16 January 1998 for a national reserve quota for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4501/98]

The person named has applied for an allocation of quota from the 1998 national reserve but, as the processing of applications has not been completed, I cannot say at this stage if his application will be successful. It is expected that processing will be completed within the next two weeks.
