Question:

222 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he will outline the expenditure on advertising for 1997 in each of the national daily, evening and Sunday newspapers, by his Department and bodies under his aegis in receipt of Exchequer funds who are established by or under an Act of the Oireachtas. [13426/98]

My Department was established on 12 July 1997. Expenditure on advertising in 1997 is set out as follows:
