Question:172 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will introduce regulations obliging land owners who are leasing land to notify his Department of their intentions in this regard. [23490/98]
Written Answers - Land Leasing.
Under section 12 of the Land Act, 1965 owners of certain agricultural lands may not let, sublet or subdivide their holdings without the consent of the Land Commission. I have no plans to introduce further regulations in this area.
