278 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if persons (details supplied) in County Sligo will have their new house grant approved immediately in view of the fact that all documents are lodged; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5834/99]

An application for a new house grant was recvied on 23 Febraury 1999 and additional information since requested from the applicants is awaited.
