240 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will approve funding for an application to refurbish the Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon; if so, when this funding will be forthcoming; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20644/99]

I am aware of proposals from the Western Health Board to carry out refurbishment and replace equipment at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon. I will ensure that the proposals receive sympathetic consideration.
