120 Ms Coughlan asked the Minister for Defence the number of Defence Force personnel based in Finner camp in 1980, 1990 and 2000; the number of recruits allocated to Finner in each of the past five years; and the number of recruits who have voluntarily left the Defence Forces in each of the past five years nationally. The military authorities advise that the number of recruits who have voluntarily left the defence forces in each of the past five years nationally is set out in the following table:

It is not the policy to disclose the number of personnel located at any particular military post or barracks. The number of recruits allocated to Finner Camp in each of the past five years is as shown in the following table:
