368 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will have investigations made into the reason a computer approved for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo as a learning aid has not been provided. [6591/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

A grant payment of £1,500 has been sanctioned by my Department for the purchase of computer equipment for the pupil in question. I understand that the payment in question will issue to the school authorities very shortly.
