354 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will make arrangements for the establishment of a speech therapy service funded by his Department which could be dedicated exclusively to children with special needs. [14696/01]
The provision of speech and language therapy services is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the regional chief executive officer, Eastern Regional Health Authority with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
