Vol. 567 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Registrar Appointment.

James Breen

Question:

385 Mr. J. Breen asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a county registrar will be appointed in County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14404/03]

Interviews for the post of county registrar for County Clare will be held by the Appointments Advisory Board very shortly. The board's remit is to review applications submitted and, in respect of each vacancy for the post of county registrar, place on a panel, in alphabetical order, a list of candidates deemed by the board to be suitable and qualified for appointment by the Government.
