217 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the structure of the Western Health Board that deals with home help; the number of staff involved; the method of allocating home help hours; if there is an appeals system; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30361/03]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 217 to 220, inclusive, together.

The provision of health services in the west is the responsibility of the WHB. My Department has asked its chief executive officer to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy. When the information is provided my Department shall forward it to him, as a matter of urgency.
