Vol. 35 No. 6

Business of Seanad.

The Cathaoirleach announced that the Social Welfare (Reciprocal Arrangements) Bill would be passed in the Dáil to-day. It has been passed and an arrangement has now been made that when the Seanad resumes at 7 p.m. it will take the Social Welfare Bill, of which the Tánaiste is in charge. It has also been suggested that we should take the Trade Union Bill, which made a brief passage through the Dáil and for which the Minister is waiting. We might deal with these small items and then resume this section of the Finance Bill.

Business suspended at 6 p.m. and resumed at 7 p.m.
