Later, 30 years ago Nelson Mandela made a historic address to Dáil Éireann condemning racism, in light of this we ask what’s next for the black lives matter movement and we discuss racism at home and abroad with Dr. Joseph Ebun, Co-ordinator of the Black Studies Module, UCD and the Independent Senator Eileen Flynn.

It is a simulation of a meeting of the Council of the European Union and involves teams from secondary schools around Ireland. The subject of this year’s debate is climate change, in particular the implications of the new Commission’s flagship "Green Deal" initiative.
