Bill Digests are briefing papers on proposed Government legislation in advance of Second Stage. Glossaries are lists of Irish vocabulary useful for those who wish to discuss a particular Bill in Irish.
These documents are now accessible along with the Explanatory Memorandum in the Related documents tab within each Bill page.
Bill Digests are prepared by the Library & Research Service (L&RS) and glossaries are prepared by Rannóg an Aistriúcháin. They are not produced for every Bill, but Members of the Oireachtas can contact the relevant service if they need assistance preparing to debate a Bill.
