Question:105 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Health if he recognises the need for dietitians within the community care service; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this service is only available on a private basis with referral from a general practitioner; if he agrees that there is a need for more preventative nutrition instruction within the community and easy access to a dietitian for people on special therapeutic diets, particularly for diabetics, obesity, hypertension and other cardiac conditions; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
