108 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Finance the current status of proposals to relocate the State laboratories from Abbotstown, Dublin 15, to a site on the Lucan/Kildare border as part of a £53 million construction project. [18883/00]
The relocation of the State laboratories is being overseen by an interdepartmental co-ordinating committee under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development. The work of this group is proceeding satisfactorily. The relevant Departments have begun detailed planning for the relocation in consultation with the Office of Public Works.
