Vol. 6 No. 18

WRITTEN ANSWERS - KILMACTHOMAS (WATERFORD) UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what is the reason for the delay in paying Unemployment Benefit to Mary Sarsfield. Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford, and Edward Sullivan, Currabaha, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford, both signing at Waterford Office, and whether instructions will be given to have payments expedited.

Mary Sarsfield, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford, and Edward Sullivan, Currabaha, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford, were prosecuted on the 13th instant for obtaining and attempting to obtain Unemployment Benefit whilst they were employed and not entitled to benefit. This circumstance necessarily delayed decisions on their subsequent claims but no time will be lost in deciding what benefit they are entitled to, and making payment accordingly.
