COMMITTEE ON FINANCE—MONEY RESOLUTION—CIVIC GUARD (ACQUISITION OF PREMISES) (AMENDMENT) BILL.

I beg to move:—

Chun críche aon Achta a rithfar sa tSíosón so chun leasú do dhéanamh ar an Acht Ghárda Síochána (Aitribh do Sholáthar), 1923, le n-a socruítear chun áitribh i gcóir balla den Ghárda Síochána do thógaint go héigeanta, go bhfuil sé oiriúnach a údarú go n-íocfar amach as airgead a sholáthróidh an tOireachtas—

That, for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to amend the Civic Guard (Acquisition of Premises) Act, 1923, which provides for the compulsory acquisition of premises for the accommodation of members of the Civic Guard, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys to be provided by the Oireachtas of—

(a) cíos na n-áitreabh san;

(a) the rent for such premises;

(b) cúiteamh do shealbhaire an áitribh sin mar gheall ar chur as do; agus

(b) compensation to the occupier of such premises for disturbance; and

(c) má dhin Coimisinéirí na nOibreacha Puiblí atharuithe creatlaigh no atharuithe eile, na costaisí a bhainfidh leis an áitreabh san do chur sa riocht ina raibh sé ar dtúis ar chríochnú na tíonóntachta; no, ina ionad san, cúiteamh sa luíodú a chuaidh ar luach an áitribh de dheascaibh na n-atharuithe sin.

(c) where the Commissioners of Public Works have carried out structural or other alterations the expenses of the restoration of such premises on the termination of the tenancy to their original condition; or, in lieu of such restoration, compensation for the reduction in the value of the premises consequent upon such alterations.

This Bill simply continues the operation of the Act of last year. It makes no change.
