The loss on telegraphs for the financial year ended the 31st March, 1928, was £142,212.
Complete returns for the last financial year are not yet available, and will not be for some months to come. I propose in connection with the current year's Estimates to indicate in a general statement the effect of the increased telegraph charges upon traffic and revenue.
