asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he intends to introduce proposals for legislation to give effect to the recommendations contained in the Interim Report of the Town Tenants Commission, 1927, with regard to the further extension of the Small Dwellings Acquisition Act, 1899, and the provision of long-term loans for Local Authorities; and, further, whether he is now in a position to state when the proposed Town Tenants Bill will be introduced.

As regards the first part of the question, I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Deputy Morrissey's question on this subject on the 27th February, 1929. The latter part is a matter for the Minister for Justice. I may add that I have already answered Deputy O'Connell upon the latter part of the question.
