Vol. 30 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Post Office Motor Vans.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the cost of repairs of all the motor vans plying to and from Mullingar Post Office from January 1st, 1929, to June 1st, 1929.

Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that for the past six months they are breaking down constantly on the road and that as a result the postal deliveries are often an hour and two hours late?

That is a separate question.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary state if there has been any overtime claimed by postmen for the period I referred to?

That is a "more separate" question.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary state why a number of post vans sent by order of his Department from Messrs. Ford of Cork to Mullingar are lying there for the past three months while these old crocks are on the road all the time?

I have answered the Deputy's question. All these are separate questions.
