asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state (a) what is the total acreage of land acquired and distributed in County Tipperary under the various Land Acts, including those of 1923 and 1927; (b) of the total acreage how much was acquired and distributed under the Land Acts of 1923 and 1927, and (c) what was the average price per acre paid for land acquired for division prior to August, 1923, and since August, 1923, respectively.

(a) In County Tipperary 47,649 acres were acquired by the Land Commission under the various Land Acts including those of 1923-29, and of this total 39,981 acres have been distributed. (b) 30,175 acres were acquired under the Land Acts, 1923-29 and of this total 22,522 acres have been distributed. (c) The average price per acre paid for land in County Tipperary acquired for division prior to 1923 was £15 8s. and since 1923 it has averaged £9 1s. per acre.
