I am aware that negotiations are proceeding between the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee and the Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway Company with a view to some scheme of amalgamation, but have not been officially informed as to what stage has been reached in the matter. In the event of an agreement being arrived at legislation would, of course, be necessary to give effect to it.
