Vol. 37 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - The Traffic Bill.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he can fix a date for the introduction of the Traffic Bill, or if same will be introduced before the Easter holiday adjournment.

It is not yet possible to fix a date for the introduction of the Traffic Bill.

Will the Minister say whether it is necessary to hold an inquest on the remains of the Bill he introduced over twelve months ago.

Will the Minister state the cause of the delay?

I have nothing to add to what I have said.

Does the Minister intend to introduce this Bill this session, say before July?

I have nothing at the moment to add to what I have already said. I shall read it again. It is not yet possible to fix the date for the introduction of the Traffic Bill.

Will the Minister state why it is not possible to fix a date for the introduction of the Bill?

Has the Minister to wait for the new mode of locomotion?

Will the Minister answer the second part of my question?

Is the Minister aware that the traffic at the present moment is getting into a chaotic state?
