Vol. 50 No. 4

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Old Age Pension Claim.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state on what grounds the claim of Mr. James Condon, Ballycurrane, Emly, to the old age pension was turned down on appeal in view of the facts that he has no right of residence on his son's farm and has no means of livelihood.

The appeal against the decision of the local subcommittee was decided on the 9th ultimo and the claim disallowed on the grounds that the claimant's means as calculated under the Old Age Pensions Act disentitled him to a pension.
