I am not aware that there has been any undue delay in the Customs clearance of seed wheat in cases where the importation of such wheat has been permitted under licence issued by the Minister for Agriculture. In fact, special steps have now been taken to facilitate the Customs clearance of this class of goods on importation into Saorstát Eireann. If the Deputy will be good enough to furnish me with the particulars of importation relating to any cases in which delay in the clearance of seed wheat is alleged to have occurred, I will have the matter investigated.
