Go ndeontar suim Bhreise ná raghaidh thar £10 chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1941, chun Tuarastail agus Costaisí Oifig an Ard-Aighne, etc., agus chun Costaisí Coir-Phróiseacht agus Dlí-Mhuirearacha eile, ar a n-áirmhítear Deontas i gCabhair do Chostaisí áirithe is iníoctha amach as Rátaí Aitiúla do réir Reachta.
That a Supplementary sum not exceeding £10 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending 31st March, 1941, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Office of the Attorney-General, etc., and for the Expenses of Criminal Prosecutions and other Law Charges, including a Grant in Relief of certain Expenses payable by Statute out of Local Rates.
In this case, I am moving for £10. There was a saving of £490 on that sub-head, and £500 is required to compensate a man who was mistakenly convicted and was released when it was established that he had been mistakenly convicted. The case appeared in the Press, and I think every Deputy knows about it.
