Vol. 88 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Milling of Cereals.

asked the Minister for Agriculture what instructions, if any, he has issued to millers regarding mixed cereal crops which have been grown by many as a result of the primary crops partial failure and another later sowing of different cereal in order to prevent land lying partially waste.

As flour millers have the necessary separating machinery, they are being asked to accept from growers lots of mixed cereals containing wheat; to separate the wheat and purchase it at the fixed price; and to purchase the other cereal at the fixed price or return it to the grower as the latter may wish.

Mr. Brennan

And if they have not separating machines?

They all have, I am told.
